The Bribery Commission Officials have today (20) arrested a Principle,Deputy Principle and a Peon attached to a Government School in Polonnaruwa(In North Central Province) regarding accepting a sum of Rs.7500 from a parent as a bribe to admitting a child to the School.The Investigations carried out by the Bribery Commission regarding the complaint received to the Commission have revealed that Principle of the School has taken the bribe through Deputy Principal and a Peon attached to the School.
According to the Investigation Results the Bribery Commission Officials have arrested the three persons responsible including the Principle and they are due to be produced before the Polonnaruwa Magistrate Court.
