Two women have been killed yesterday (24) at Galwaduwagma Area on Kandy-Jaffna Main Road after being hit by a Car.The Two women being hit by a Car Travelling from Tirappane to Galwaduwagama while they were walking on the road last evening according to Police.After being admitted to the Anuradhapura General Hospital in critical condition the two women aged 52 and 62 years old have succumbed to their injuries shortly afterwards.
The driver of the Car has been arrested regarding the killing of two women and Tirappane Police are conducting further investigations on the incident.
