Sri Lanka Will Stop Importing Food Items That Can Be Cultivated Here-President Sirisena

Within next three year period Sri Lanka will stop importing food items that can be cultivated here according to President Maithripala Sirisena.

He also said those lands not used for cultivation so far will be taken over to the government.

President has revealed this while addressing a National Food Production Programme held in Kilinochchchi Area(In Northern Province)
