The Sri Lanka Customs Department has decided to send the three high rank Customs Officers who were remanded over accepting Rs.125 Million as a bribe on compulsory leave.The decision to send the three customs officers on compulsory leave has been taken to pave the way for an inquiry to be conducted by Sri Lanka Customs Department against those officers.
The Three high rank Customs Officers have been arrested by Bribery Commission last week while accepting Rs.125 million as a bribe from a foreign company representatives.The suspects were remanded until 30th of October after been produced before the court.
