Steps Will Be Taken to Sharing The Benefits Of Country's Development To Every Corner Of The Society "-President Sirisene

"During next five yaers Steps will be taken to extend the development of the nation to every corner of the society , to minimize  the deficiency of sharing the income and to uplift the per capita income of persons" Presdient Maithripala Sirisene has said today(01) at the Parliament.

Making a special statement at the inaugural session of the 08th Parliament which convened today President Sirisne has also stressed that the newly formed unitery government comprising the governing United National Party(UNP) and opposition Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) will bring back the intelectuals who left the country in recent years due to professional problems."A Special authority will be set up to welcome them and to take their service for the development programmes here" he has said.

While assuring that his government will implement a non aligned Foreign Policy President Sirisene has said that to develop the country without any difficulty forming an unitary government comprisng the two main parties is must.This would create a new political culture in the country and we should work together as one family to form the unitary government which will address the problems faced by the country".

"You Parliamentariens should take a firm decison on whether to keep the executive presidency created under the 1978 constitution or not.My government will give priority to build the country withing next five years and will use the Policy Propaganda's of other parties too for this process ".

"In the past we heard that the west is trying to take revange from some war heroes of the country.But our government has already reverse that situation and  able to win the international community .

"One of the top priorities of the new government will be  combatting  fraud and to secure state resources.Therefore if anyone is trying to misuse the state resources that person will be severely punished without considering their status" President has further said.
