The special commodity levy imposed on imported edible oil has been increased by Rs.20 per Kilo Gramme with effect from today(23) according to the Ministry Of Finance.Providing relief to local Coconut Industry has behind this decision the Ministry has said.With the new increase the special commodity levy imposed on Crude Edible Oil increased to Rs.110 from Rs.90 per Kilo Gramme and levy imposed on Refined Oil increased to Rs.130 from Rs.110 per Kilo Gramme.
