Maskeliya Police have this evening (28)arrested a male school teacher who attempted to sexually molest four girl students studying at grade 10 in an Estate School in Maskeliya.Police have arrested the teacher after the parents of four girls studying at an estate school in Maskeliya had complained to the police the said teacher had molested the girls while he was conducting a tuition class at his house.
The suspected teacher has been identified as a married person from Norwood Area(Up Country) and he is due to be produced before Hatton Magistrate tomorrow(29).
Meanwhile the four girl students who were subjected to molestation are due to be referred to
Judicial Medical Officer (JMO) attach to Dikoya Base Hospital for a medical examination.
