German Foreign Minister Dr.Steinmeier To Visit Sri Lanka Next Tuesday

German Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr.Frank Walter Steinmeier is due to arrive Sri Lanka Next Tuesday Evening for an official visit.He is the first German Foreign Minister to visit Sri Lanka since 2004.

During his visit Dr.Steinmeier is due to hold talks with President Maithripala Sirisene ,Prime Minister Ranil Wikramasinghe,Foreign Minister Managala Samaraweera and Opposition Leader R.Sampanthan.German Foreign Minister is also due to visit the German Funded Sri Lankan -German Training Institute in Kilinochchi(In Northern Province) which scheduled to be inaugurated in May 2016.He will participate a tree planting ceremony too there afterwards.

Meanwhile the German Embassy In Colombo has today(19) announced it's Consular and Visa Section will be remained closed next Tuesday due to the German Foreign Minister's Visit here.
