A person came from a motor bike had robbed Rs.5.5 million from a private bank at Dharmapala Mawatha (In Colombo City) this morning and fled away according to police.The robber was covered his face with a helmet and attacked the security guard who was there in front of the bank and robbed the money police have said.
The injured security guard has been admitted to Colombo National Hospital for treatment.The Criminal Investigations Department(CID) is conducting further investigations on the incident.
