The Police have today (06)arrested a person in Kantale Area (In Eastern Province) with 14,986 fake Ballot Papers in his possession which prepared to be used during the voting in Trincomalee District at the forthcoming election.The fake ballot papers were stored inside a small shop in Kantale according to the Police.The shop is rented out by an election candidate who is contesting at the forthcoming election for Trincomalee District it has been revealed.
The Kantale Police have been conducting further investigations on the incident.
