The Casting of Postal Votes for the forthcoming Parliamentary Election scheduled to be held on 17th Of August due to begin tomorrow (03) according to the Election Department.Under this Police Officers and Teachers attach to Government Schools are allowed to cast their Postal Ballot tomorrow while rest of the eligible Postal Voters will cast their postal ballot on 05th and 06th of August.
A total of 566,823 voters out of the 628,925 voters who applied for Postal Voting are eligible to cast their ballot at the forthcoming election.The Postal Voting Applications of 62,102 voters were rejected due to various reasons the Election Department has stated.
