The Supreme Court has today(24) granted leave to proceed the petitions filed at the court by three petitioners challenging the establishment of Police Financial Crimes Investigations Division.Professor Carlo Fonseka ,Elle Gunawansha Thero and former minister Basil Rajapakshe have been filed these petitions.Former Defense Secretary Gotabaya Rajapakshe has too filed a fundamental application at Supreme Court by challenging the legality of establishing the Police Financial Crimes Investigations Division.
