Sri Lanka Custom Officers have arrested a Sri Lankan National who attempted to smuggle Rs.3.8 million worth stock of gold to the country at Katunayake Bandaranaike International Air Port this morning.According to the Custom Officers the suspect who is a 33 year old Resident of Colombo had arrived here from Dubai this morning with Three Expensive unfinished Gold Chains weighing around 700 Grammes and worth around Rs.3.8 million concealed inside his luggage.
Sri Lanka Customs is conducting an investigation on the incident.
