MP Sajin Vaas Gunawardene Has Been Remanded Until 20th of May

MP Sajin Vaas Gunawardene who was arrested this noon for misusing the vehicles owned  by Presidential Secretariat has been  remanded until 20th of May by the Colombo Fort Chief Magistrate.

The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) has summoned MP Gunawardene this morning to record a statement regarding the allegation leveled against him,

Voice Against Corruption headed by the Provincial Councilor of  leftist Jantaha Wimukthi Peramuna(JVP) Wasantha Samarasinhe had leveled the allegation against MP Gunawardene.
