The Security Officers of the Katunayake Bandaranaike International Air Port have today (15) arrested two Indian Nationals who tried to smuggle Gold Jewelry weighing 4.2 Kilo Grammes to Chennai India it has been reported.The Gold Jewelry was hidden inside their vests according to the customs.It has been estimated that the said stock of gold jewelry was worth around Rs.2 million.
