One person was killed and three others were injured due to a land slide occurred in Muruthalawa area in Peradeniya during early hours of today(25).Due to the heavy showers experienced in the area a mud slide was fell to a house early this morning and killed one person stayed inside the house and three persons including a small child have got injured and admitted to the Peradeniya Teaching Hospital. As the adverse weather condition is to continue further throughout the island during next 24 hours as well the Disaster Management Center(DMC) has issued land slide warning to six districts namely Kandy,Badulla,Matale,Ratnapure,Kegalle and Nuwara Eliya .
