Two Sri Lankan Nationals have been arrested by the Customs Officers at Katunayake Bandaranaike International Air Port early this morning while trying to smuggle gold slabs worth Rs.53 million to the country from Dubai.According to the Custom Officers gold slabs weighing 7.1 Killo Grammes which the suspects brought from Dubai were concealed in calculator boxes.
Authorities are conducting further investigations on the incident.
