Twelve Nation T20 World Cup Cricket Tournament 2012 has begun this evening at Suriyawewa International Cricket Stadium in Hambanthota(Southern Province) with a colorful opening ceremony.after the ceremony hosts Sri Lankans played the curtain raiser match with minnows Zimbabwe and Sri Lankans won the match by 82 runs .Sri Lankans scored 182/4 in their 20 overs while replying Zimbabwe Team has dismissed for 100 runs with 15 balls to spare.A total number of 27 matches to be played under this world cup prior to the finals.The finals of the T20 World Cup Cricket Tournament will be held in 07th of October at R.Premadasa International Cricket Stadium Colombo.
