The sacred "Kapilawasthu Relics"relics which are portion of Lord Buddha's fragments of bones were brought to Sri Lanka this morning from India.This is the first time these relics brought to Sri Lanka after 34 years and it will be displayed to the public from today onwards at several temples in nine provinces of the island.The relics are currently at Kelaniya Rajamaha Viharaya .The relics which brought here from museum in New Delhi were received by Mahanayaka Theros and President Mahinda Rajapaksha at the Katunayake Banadaranaike International Air Port this morning.
