Colombo National Hospital Docs To Launch A Token Strike Tomorrow

Doctors attached to Colombo National Hospital are due to launch a 24 hour token strike tomorrow (20) demanding the abolishing of two new appointments made by Health Minster to the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC).

The Strike is to be launch at 8 a.m tomorrow and it will be ended around 8 a.m on Saturday



According to Government medical Officers Association ( GMOA) all doctors except the  Doctors attached to Accident Service are participating this strike.The Health Minister has  appointed two new members to the Sri Lanka Medical Council( SLMC)  by violating the Medical Ordinance GMOA has said.
