Eight Memorandum of Understandings (MOU) were signed between Sri Lanka and Vietnam yesterday (14)at the Presidential Secretariat.These MOU'S were signed following the bi lateral talks between the Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksha and the visiting Vietnamese President Truong Tang Sang.The MOU'S were signed on the fields of Foreign Affairs,Finance ,Defense,Industry and Commerce,Higher Education,Petroleum,Investment Promotion and Gas oil Sales according to the Government Sources.
Meanwhile The Visiting Vietnamese President is due to open the official Vietnamese Embassy in Colombo today(15)yesterday he was inaugurated the Vietnamese -Sri Lanka Business Forum and hold discussions with the Sri Lankan Minister of External Affairs Professor G.L Pieris.Vietnamese President is due to leave the country today.
