The State Of Emergency was passed today in Parliament with majority of 80 votes while 110 voted for and 30 voted against it.Meanwhile Prime Minister D.M Jayarathne has told Parliament today that the Government is considering on lifting Emergency Regulations soon after consultation with the National Security Council.
