The visiting Managing Director of the World Bank Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has pledged to increase the loan opportunities to the Sri Lankan Government as the Country is seeking 500 Million US Dollars worth financial aid from World Bank for post war economic recovery.Okonjo-Iwealawho who has ended her two day visit to Sri Lanka yesterday said that Sri Lankan Government sought 500 Million US Dollars financial assistance for the year 2011 even the country has not yet finalized the projects to fund from that money.
