The main contender for the leadership of the Main opposition United National Party (UNP)Hambanthota MP Sajith Premadasa has said today that due to the new constitution adapted by the Party yesterday anyone even an ordinary member of UNP can be elected for the Party Leadership.
Addressing a Media Brifing in Colombo he stressed that under the new party constitution anyone can be elected to the top five posts of the Party through a secret ballot.
