Buddhists all over the world today celebrated the Wesak full moon Poya day which marked the birth,enlightenment and the demise of the Lord Buddha.In Sri Lanka a special religious observances and alms giving were organized to mark this event and Wesak decorations including large Pandoles and lanterns are displayed throughout the capitol Colombo and the outstations.There are more then ten pandals displayed within the colombo city.Today and tomorrow are declared as wesak holidays.
