Elections Commissioner Dayananda Dishanayaka has informed the Joint Opposition Alliance that Four Foreign Elections Observation Teams will invited to Observe the Forthcoming Sri Lankan Presidential Elections.The General Secretary of the Main Opposition United National Party(UNP) Tissa Attanayaka today said that the Elections Commissioner has informed them that the Election Observation Teams from United Nations,European Union and Asian Elections Commission will be invited to Observe the Polls.Mr.Attanayaka made these remarks at a Press Briefing held in Colombo today.Sri Lankan Presidential Elections is scheduled to be held in 26th of January 2010 and the hand over of Nominations for the Election will take place on 17th of December 2009.
