All the Staff including the Doctors attached to Matara MOH Office at the Southern Province decided not to involve in Vaccination Programmes conducted under the National Immunization Programme as protest of issuing Charge Sheets for them on Rubella Death happened in last March at Matara District.Under this action MOH Staff is decided to stay away from the Vaccination Programme including Polio,Triple and Meninjitis.The Health Ministry Secretary Dr.Athula Kahanda Liyanage issued Charge Sheets for the Matara MOH Staff asking Show Cause on the Death of the 13 year old School Girl who died after administering Rubella Vaccine.
