Sri Lankan Government Can Handle The Needs Of IDP'S -Health Minister

Sri Lankan Government Still Manage to cater the Needs of the Sri Lankan IDP Population in the North alone and will welcome if any other Party Is interested to help them in this regard The Minister Of Health and nutrition Nimal Siripala De Silva said today.Government will resettled all IDP'S in their Native Places soon and the Process is still continuing Minister stressed.

Speaking at the Press Briefing held today to Farewell the outgoing Indian Medical Team attached to the Indian Field Hospital at Manik Farm in the North the Health Minister said the Medical Team committed to Work in the North at the Time that Some Government Doctors refused to work in the Palces like Cheddikulam due to lack of facilities.He Praised the Skils,Commitment and Dedication of the Indian Medical Team during their stay in Sri Lanka.India help sri lanka to defeat Terrorism and Indian Stabilty is help Sri Lanka at alrge the minister pointed out.

Addressing the Press Briefing the Indian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Mr.Alok Prasad said that the Indian Field Hospital provided Medical Assistance to over 50,000 IDP's during their presence here and donated Rs.125 Million worth Medicine and Equipment to Sri Lankan Health Ministry since this January.Health Minister Distributed the Appreciation Certifficates to the outgoing Indian Medical Team.
