Dr.Palitha Kohona Resumed Duties As New UN Representative

Former Foreign Secretary Dr.Palitha Kohona today resumed his duties as the Sri Lankan Permanent Residential Representative to the United Nations in  New York,U.S.A.Dr.Kohona presented his Credentials to the UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon this morning and hold talks with him around 45 minutes.

Although normal such meetings lasted only few minutes these talks took much longer according to the reports.However as a tradition the details of the talks not made public.
