The two Cuban Epidemiologists who are here to examine the ways of using Cuban Made BTI Bacteria in Sri Lanka to eradicate the Dengue Menace are due to handover a Report regarding this to the Ministry Of Health within Three Weeks time it has been revealed.According to the Deputy Director General Of Health Services(Public Health)Dr.Palitha Mahipala the two Cuban Epidemeologists are currently examining the Dengue Mosquito Breeding Places at the Hambantota District in Southern Sri Lanka and after visiting other Districts which are most vulnerable to spreading of Dengue, they will handover a Report on how to use BTI Bacteria in Sri Lanka.
After examining the Report Health Ministry will take a decision on how to import and use this Bacteria to Dengue Breeding Sites he stressed.Two Cuban Epidemiologists Dr.Armian Martinez and Dr.Yellina arrived here last tuesday and palnning to stay in the Island for Three Months.
