Two Cuban Epidemiologists who arrived Sri Lanka last morning for a One Weak inspection Tour have now decided to stay here Three Months to help Health Ministry to overcome the lapses occurred in the National Dengue Control Programme.The two Epidemiologists Dr.Arminas Martinez and Dr.Yellina met Health Minister Nimal Siripala De Silva to day and hold discussions on activities of the National Dengue Control Programme and the Technical Matters related to using of Cuban made BTI Bacteria here.The two Epidemiologists brought the Samples of the Bacteria to the island which helped Cuba to curb the Dengue Menace.They are schedule to visit the Dengue Alert Areas in the Island.
