The Nursing Staff attached to the Maharagama Cancer Hospital In Sri Lanka restricted the Giving Chemo Therapy to Cancer Patients citing Lack of Nursing Staff for the Job,Poor Facilities inside the Wards and lack of Protective Equipment.The Chemo Therapy treatment is resricted to 300 Patients a day out of 500 Patients who ware administered this treatment earlier.Meanwhile The Director General Of Health Services Dr.Ajith Mendis said that the Ministry Of Health decided to recruit 69 new Nursing Officers to the Cancer Hospital in the places of those who are not administering the Chemo Therapy to the Patients.
