Two Crew members of the controversial Ship "Captain Ali" Vessel which is anchored out side the Chennai Port in India requested Indian Authorities to give them permission to disembark the Vessel so they can take a flight back to their home countries.The Vessel which carried a shipment of relief material donated by the Tamil Diaspora in United Kingdom for the IDP'S in the Northern Sri Lanka was turned away by the Sri Lankan Navy few weaks ago after it entered to Lankan Waters illegally.Then the Ship was moved to Chennai Port and last wednesday Sri Lankan Government agreed to take the Shipment after the Indian Government requested them to do so.Uthayanan Thavarajasingam and Kristjan Gudmundssonare are the two crew members who requested Indian Authorities to allow them to fly back to London and Icland respectively.
