2938 Corona Positives And 111 Corona Deaths Reported Today (09)

Another 2938 Corona Positives and 111 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (09) according to the Director General Of Health Services .

Accordingly the total number of Corona positives reported so far had risen to 332,947 and the total number of Corona deaths had risen to 5222 it has been revealed ,

Out of the 111 Corona deaths reported in the country today 56 were males and 55 were females ,90 of the deceased were of the ages over 60 years ,

At the moment 32,318 Corona positives are being treated at Government hospitals and quarantine centers ,

Aanother 100,000 Doses Of "Pfizer " Vaccine Had Arrived In Sri Lanka

Another 100,000 doses of "Pfizer " Corona vaccine doses purchased by the Sri Lankan authorities had arrived in Sri Lanka in wee hours of this morning (09) via Doha ,Qatar according to sources .

These doses which were brought by A Qatar Airlines flight are being stored in special containers weighing around 550 Kilo grammes the sources have stated ,
