Ayurveda Corporation To Produce Coconut Oil Within The Corporation

Sri Lanka Ayurveda Drug Manufacturing Corporation has decided to produce the required  amount of Coconot oil   within the Corporation to minimize the annual expenditure spend on Coconut oil according to it's Chairman Lal Samarasinghe.

Ayurveda Corporation is currently spending Rs.30 million annually to purchase Coconot oil he has stated.

Government To Reduce Kerosene Oil Price From Monday

Government has decided to reduce the price of Kerosene by Rs.25 -30 with effect from Monday(11) to facilitate the low income groups and fisheries community in the country according to State Minister of Fisheries and Aquatic resources Dilip Wedaarachchi.

Accordingly a liter of Kerosene will be reduced from Rs.25 to Rs.30 from the current price Rs..101 he has stated.The new price of Kerosene will be Rs. 71 or Rs.76 per a liter it has been revealed.

The Price of Kerosene Liter was increased by Rs.57 from Rs.44 to Rs.101 recently to prevent some persons from using Kerosene for irregularities and mixing with fuel.

Five Faculties Of Univerisuty Of Ruhuna Have Been Closed

Image result for university of ruhunaThe Administration had closed five faculties of the University Of Ruhuna in Wellamadama premises today (08) due to a in disciplinary action  of a group of students in the University .

Accordingly Faculties of Management And Finance ,Technology,Human And Social Sciences,Fisheries ,Sea and Technology and Science have been closed until further notice it has been announced.

The faculties were closed after a group of students have raided the administrative building of the University and pretested against the Administration's decision to invite the parents of some female students attached to the Female Hostel and make aware them over an incident occurred there it has been reported.

A Youth Was Killed After Falling Down From The "Nelum Kuluna" Tower

Image result for nelum kuluna towerA 19 year old youth was killed after falling down from a electric lift of the Sri Lanka's highest building under construction "Nelum Kuluna" Tower (350 meter high )this evening (08) according to the Police.

The youth had fallen down from the lift which is also half made in a position 145 meter high it has been revealed.

The deceased was identified as a resident of Kilinochchi Area in North who were involved in construction work of the Tower .

Maradana Police is investigating over the incident.
