The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CEYPETCO ) had revised it's fuel prices with effect from midnight last night(31) according to the Corporation .
Accordingly a liter of Octane 92 petrol had been increased by Rs.20 ,A liter of Octane-95 petrol had been increased by Rs.10 and a Liter of Super Diesel had been increased by Rs.12 .The prices of A liter of Lanka white Diesel and Kerosene oil had been reduced by Rs.02 and Rs.10 respectively
The Auditor General W.P.C Wikramaratne had appointed a15 member investigation team to investigate on the importation of Sub standard medicine to the country since 2022 upto now. .
The Investigation Team Consists of officials and doctors representing the Ministry of Health ,Medical Supplies Division ,State Oharmaceuticals Corporation ,Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Corporation ,And representatives of Major Hospitals in the ialand including Colombo National Hospital.

French President Emmanuel Macron who had visited Sri Lanka for a brief period on last friday (28)night, the first ever by a french president in History ,met with Sri Lankan President Ranil Wikramasinghe and held bi lateral talks at the Katunayake Intetnational Airport premises.
Both presidents held bi lateral talks for more than one hour and French president had promised to support sri lanka on debt restructuring process and many other fields it has been reported.
The Japanese Foreign Minister Hayashi Yoshimasa and his delegation arrived in Sri lanka yesterday (29) for a two day official visit are scheduled to hold bi lateral talks with President Ranil Wikramasinghe and sri lankan officials .
