Impriosned Inter University Students Federation Convener Has Been Hospitalized
The imprisoned convener of the Inter University Students Federation (IUSF ) Wasantha Mudalige had been admitted to the Prison Hospital due to an illness it has been reported ,The reason behind his hospital admission has not yet been revealed .
Mudalige had been arrested by the Police on the 19th of August this year over organizing protest campaign and he will remains in prison until 17th of January 2023. , Ministry of Defensed has authorized the Police to detain him and interrogate for 90 days under the terrorism prevention act .
A 26 Year Old Youth Had Been Injured Due To A Gun Shooting
A 26 year old youth has been severely injured and hospitalized due to a gun shooting incident occurred at Yakkatuwa area in Elpitiya town (Southern Province ) today (23).The critically injured youth had been transferred to the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital after been admitted to the Elpitiya Base Hospital for treatment ,
Two persons arrived in from a Motorcycle had shot him and fled away from the area according to Police .Elpitiya Police are conducting an investigations on the incident ,

The Adviser to the President Ranil Wikramasinghe on Parliamentary Affairs Professor Anshu Marasinghe had resigned from his Post today (23) citing personal reasons
He had served as Parliament MP elected from the National List of the United National Party (UNP) during the period 2017-2020 .
Meanwhile Former MP of Main opposition Samagijanabalawegaya Hrunika Premachandre has told today during a press briefing held in Colombo that Professor Marasinghe who had resigned from his Post of President's advisor had allegedly sexually abused a pet dog and a video regarding that abuse is currently gone viral in social media platforms .
