Out of the 326 Medical Administration posts in Government Hospitals and Health Institutions 165 posts are vacant according to the All Ceylon Medical Officers Association .Accordingly 83 out of the 205 Senior Deputy Medical Administration posts and 82 out of the 121 Senior Medical Administration posts are vacant the Association has stated ,

The Medical Officers Association has made a written request from the Health Ministry Secretary Dr Ssanjeewa Munasinghe today (28) urging him to fill the vacancies through qualified medical officers with immediate effect ,

932 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (28)

A total number of 932 Corona positives had been reported today (28) in the country ,Increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 515,524 according to the Epidemiology Unit .

At the moment 46,681 Corona Positives are being treated at Government /Private Hospitals /Quarantine centers and under Home care system the Unit has stated .

Only 6655 "PCR " tests and 2322 "Rapid Antigen " tests had been performed in the country yesterday (27) it has been revealed ,

Another 55 Corona deaths had been reported today (28) in the country ,Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 12,857 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS) .
