Although The Daily Corona Infections Are On The Decrease The Risk Of Pandemic Still There =Dr Herath

Whether the daily Corona infections and deaths in the country are increasing or on the decrease the risk of spreading Corona is still there according to Deputy Director General Of Health Services Dr .Hemantha Herath .

Therefore the general public should follow the Anti Corona health guidelines continuously he has further stated .

1332 Corona Positives Reported Today (24)

A total of 1332 Corona Positives had been reported in the country today (24) ,increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 511,372 according to Epidemiology Unit ,

At the moment 46,150 Corona positives are being treated at Government /Private hospitals /Quarantine Centers and under home care system the Unit has stated ,

A total of 8256 "PCR " tests had been performed in the country yesterday (23) along with 3607 "Rapid Antigen tests according to reports ,

82 Corona Deaths Reported Today (24)

Another 82 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (24) ,increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 12,530 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS).

Accordingly 51 males and 31 females had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has stated .Out of the deceased 61 were over 60 years of age it has been revealed ,21 were belonged to the age group 30-60 years .
