18 Corona Deaths Were Reported Yesterday (12)
Another 18 Corona deaths were Reported Yesterday (12) increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 868 according to the National Covid -19 Prevention Center .
Accordingly 12 males and 06 females resided in many outstation areas and Colombo -05 of the ages 38-95 had died due to Covid pneumonia and complications occurred due to the non communicable diseases they have suffered from the center had stated .
More And More Children Are Being Infected With Corona Virus -Paediatriciens Had Requested Public To Prevent Children From Getting Infected With Corona Virus
The Family Health Bureau and The Collage Of Pediatricians had yesterday (12) requested all adults to protect small children from exposing to Corona virus as more and more small children in the country are being infected with the virus at present , Some of them had developed life threatening illnesses .
Although Medical professionals had earlier stated that the small children are not getting infected with Corona virus as adults ,Now the situation has changed due to the spreading of new Corona virus Varients according to the Family health Bureau .
Teach small children to adhere Anti Corona health practices every time The Bureau had requested the public .
Sri Lanka To Receive 600,000 Doses of Sputnik Vaccine Within Nr
Sri Lanka is scheduled to receive 600,000 doses of Sputnik -V Anti Corona Vaccine from Russia within next two weeks according to State Minister of Epidemics and Covid Control Dr.Sudarshani Fernandopulle

Sri Lanka has ordered 1.3 million doses of Sputnik -V Anti Corona vaccine and 5 million doses of Sinopharm vaccine and also searching a stock of 600,000 Oxford -AstraZeneca Covishield vaccine to give second dose of the vaccine to those recipients of the first dose of Oxford vaccine Dr.fernAndopulle has stressed .
2386, Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today(12)
A total of 2386 Corona positives had been reported today (12)) in the country ,Increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 133,527 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .
At the moment 25,020 Corona positives are being treated at Government hospital and Quarantine centers
