400 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today !06)

 A total of 400 Corona Positives had been reported today (06)increasing the total number of Corona Positives reported so far to 12,970 according to Epidemeology Unit .

Accordingly all the 400 Corona positives reported today were close contacts. Of the Paliyagoda Fish market cluster the unit has stated .

At the moment 5456 Corona positives are. Being treated at government hospitals .

A 23 Year Old Male Has Died Due To Corona Infection -Thr 30th Corona Death In The Country

 A 23 year old Male has died due to Corona infection whilst receiving treatment at Infectious Diseases Hospital (IDH) in Angoda yesterday (05)according to the Ministry Of Health .

The deceased who was the 30th Corona victim in the country has died yesterday  at IDH Hospital and confirmed as a Corona positive today the Ministry has stated .

The deceased was a resident of Colombo -15 (Modara )and died due to the complications of diabetes caused by the Corona virus it has been announced. 

Another 23 Prison Inmates Attached To Welikada Prison Had Been Tested Positive For Corona Virus Today (06)

 Another 23 prison inmates. Attached to the Welikada Prison had been tested positive  for Corona virus today (06),increasing the total number of prison inmates in the prison who had tested positive. For Corona virus so far  to 28.

Yesterday (05) 05 prison inmates and a prison officer of the Welikada prison  had been tested positive for Corona virus .

Out of the 23 Corona  positive prison inmates iidentified today 22 were females and all of them had been admitted to Welikanda Treatment center for treatment  .

563 Corona. positives Had Been Discharged. From Hospitals Today (06)

 A total of 563 Corona positives  had been discharged from Government hospitals today (06)after full recovery ,increasing the total number of Corona positives discharged from Hospitals do far to 7186 according to Epidemeology Unit .

Out of these positives 324 were discharged from Punani  Treatment Center it has been revealed .

Central Mail Exchange Had Been Temporarily Closed Down Due To A Corona Positive Employee

 Central Mail Exchange In Colombo had been temporarily closed yesterday (05)after identifying a Corona positive employee at the exchange  

The positive employee had been hospitalized for treatment and his close contacts had been sent to quarantine .
