A Principal.Was Arrested And Remanded Over Sexually Molesting A School Girl
A 46 year old Principal at Kotawehera
area has been remanded by the Nikaweratiya acting Magistrate today (20)until 30 th of this month over sexually molesting a 14 year old school girl of the same school.
The suspect had sexually molested the school girl on last friday (17)while no one else there in the house it has been revealed.
The victim had been produced before the Judicial.Medical Officer of Nikaweratiya Base Hospital for a medical examination
Police have arrested the suspect and produced him before the court today .

CID Had Submitted The Statement Recorded From Former President Mahinda Rajapakshe Over Keith Noyer Incident To The Court
The Crimes Investigations Department
(CID) had submitted the statement recorded from former President Mahinda Rajapakshe recently over the abduction and assaulting of a Senior Journalist Keith Noyer attached to Nation paper to the Mount Lavinia Magistrate Court today (20).
The statement recorded from the former President Mahinda Rajapakshe Was submitted to the court when the case on the abduction and assaulting of Keith Noyer taken up for hearing at the court today.
A group of CID officers had questioned the former President over the incident and recorded the statement at his residence in Colombo-07 last Friday.
The statement given by the Senior Journalist Keith Noyer over the incident too was submitted to the court by the CID.
