Police Narcotic Bureau Officials Had Detained Around 95 Kilo Grammes Of Cannabies In Jaffna
The Police Narcotic Bureau Officials have today(04) detained around 95 Kilo Grammes of Cannabis during a raid carried out near Railway Station in Kodikamam in Jaffna(In Northern Province) The detained stock of Cannabis is due to produce before Jaffna Magistrate Court this evening.
The Police are conducting investigations to arrest the suspects who brought the stock of detained Cannabis to Jaffna.

Ministry Of Health To Black List Private Hospitals Which Are Getting Services Of Government Health Professionals By Interrupting Government Hospital Activities
The Ministry Of Health,Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine has decided to black list the Private Hospitals which are getting the services of Government Health Professionals including doctors by interrupting services of government hospitals.Accordingly the Minister Of Health Dr.Rajitha Senaratne has instructed the Director General Of Health Services Dr.Palitha Mahipala to issue a circular regarding advising Private Hospital Administrators on terms and conditions when getting services of government health professionals.
The Minister has also instructed the Director General Of Health Services to regulate the all activities of Private Hospitals including patient care services,Surgeries perform at Private Hospitals and bills issued to the patients under the Ministry Of Health.
The flying squad attached to the Ministry Of Health will carry out raids in Private Hospitals to see whether they are following the instructions issued to them by the Ministry Of Health the Health Minister has stated.
Board Of Investment Of Sri Lanka Signed Agreements On 16 New Projects During January To February This Year
The Board Of Investment (BOI)of Sri Lanka has signed agreements on 16 New Projects during January to February this year with future investments of US Dollars 110 Million according to reports.The signed projects cover a various sectors including mini hydro power,hotel projects and garment manufacturing .
These projects will be generated around 1250 new direct employment opportunities the sources have revealed.
