Government Hospital Nurses.Professions Supplementary To Medicine and Paramedical Officers are due to hold a protest ca mommpaign in front of the Ministry Of Health on 08th of December and to launch an island wide token strike on 15th of December by demanding solutions for six of their service Demands.

Among the demands made by Joint Council Of nurses.professions supplementary to medicine and para medical officers are adding the Rs.10,000 allowance to salary of government servents    and ,abolishing  the proposed consolidated pension fund

Seventeen Persons Have Been Injured Due To A Bus Collision

Around 17 Persons have been injured as Two Buses collided each other at Diyagala in Ginigathhena Area today(01).

The injured persons have been hospitalized for treatment.

Private Buses To Strike From 15th Of December

MLT'S Attach To North Western Province Are To Be Launched A One Day Token Strike Tomorrow(01)

The Medical Laboratory Technologists (MLT) attach to Government Hospitals in  North Western Province are due to launch an One Day Token Strike by demanding to drop the fake complaint made against one of the MLT's by Medical Superintendent Of Puttalam Hospital.

Due to a fake complaint made against a MLT Attach to Puttalam Hospital by the Medical Superintendent of the Hospital ,The Police have arrested the MLT and remanded him according to Joint Council On Professions Supplementary To Medicine.

If the authorities are not able to withdraw the fake complaint,Professions Supplementary To Medicine attach to North Western Provincial Hospitals will  launch a token strike on Wednesday (02) to oppose it the Joint Council has said.
