Health Minister Maithripala Sirisena has pledged yesterday (11) that he will presented the much awaited National Drugs Policy to the Parliament by end of This February.Discussions will goes on with Legal Draftsmen to finalize the shortcomings of Drugs Policy and to present it to the Parliament without any delay the Minister has stressed.
Last Year the Health Minster in many occasions has said that the National Drugs Policy will be implement before end of last year but was failed to keep that promise up to date.
He has revealed these facts during a Press Briefing held at Family Health Bureau in Colombo yesterday.
Meanwhile He has also accepted the fact that there are lapses in the Tender Procedure adapted when purchasing of Drugs and Equipments. to Government Hospitals.
