National Health Policy a need of the hour in sri lanka
Even sri lanka is having one of the best health care systems in asia we still do not have a national health policy which will be the need of the hour.sri lanka achieved so many health indicators such as primary health care, maternity health care and life expectancy rates in short period of time as the world health organization too praised our efforts in this regard.
But due to not having a national health policy it will be hard to implement the health prgrammes effectively.
previous governments too tried to implement a national health policy but failed to do so due to the bureaucracy.
