Sri Lankan Airlines Flight Diverted To Vienna Due To An Emergancy

A Sri Lankan Airlines Flight carrying 272 Passangers en route from Colombo to London was landed at Vienna International Airport in Austria yesterday(03) due to a medical emergancy on board it has been reported..

Due to a passanger received an  Emergency Medical Treatment on board of the Aircraft   The Sri Lankan Airlines flight diverted to Vienna Airport The Sri Lankan Airlines Communications Department  has confirmed .However the departure of the flight has been delayed later due to a technical problem.

Milk Production In Maradankadawela Area Was Sealed

Health Authorities in Kekirawa (Anuradhapura District) had sealed the   Milk Production plant in Maradankadawala area maintained an unhygienic manner yesterday(03).

This manufacturing plant produced Milk

products including  Yoghurt,Ice Cream  and Liqid Yoghurt it has  been revealed .As those Milk products were distributed  to many areas in the island  steps had been taken to sealed the plant after receieving complaints from.consumers the Health authorities have stated.

 

33 Injured Due To Bus Collision

 Around 33 persons including school children had been injured and hospitalized  following ahead on collision of  A Sisu sariya bus and Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) Bus near the ECC junction in Ampara today (03).

Prices Of Fried Rice And Kottu Reduced

 The Prices of  Fried Rice and Kottu Rotty had been Reduced by Rs.20 coincides with the reduction of Gas prices  according to  the All Ceylon Canteen Owners Association.

The Prices of short eats have been reduced 

by Rs.10 the Association has stated

Litro Gas Prices To Be Reduced

 Litro Gas Prices will be reduced with  effect ftom midnight tonight(03) according to the Litro Gas Company.

Accordingly the Price of 12.5 Kilo Gramme Litro Gas,Cylinder will be reduced  by Rs.175  to Rs.3940 , 5 Kilo Gramme Litro Gas Cylinder will be reduced by Rs.70  to Rs.1582 and 2.3 Kilo Gramme Litro  Gas Cylinder will be reduced by Rs.32 to  Rs.740 the Chairman.of  Litro Gas Company Muditha Pieris has stated.

Meanwhile Laugfs Gas Company had also announced that it will reduce the prices of Laugfs Gas cylinders as well.

All Non Academic Staff Of Universities Launched A Strike

 All  non academic staff attached to the Universities  Island wide had launched a continuous Strike with effect from  yestetday (02)  demanding solutions for several demands including salary anomalies of them.

This trade union action is being launched as the authorities failed to give solutions for their demands according to Joint  trade unions Committee of the Universities..
