Former President Sirisena To Appear Before CID Today (25)

The former President Maithripala Sirisens is due to be summoned by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) this morning over the comment he has made saying  he knows the persons and the mastermind behind the Easter sunday attacks .occured on 21st of April 2019.

Former President Sirisena is due to be appeared before CID at 10.30 a.m today to make a statement on his comment made last friday(22) in Kandy.Many sections in the society including the  Buddhist clergy and politicians have criticized over the statement  made by former president.

A Fire Erupted In An Apparal Shop In Colombo Had Been Doused

 A fire erupted in the No Limit apparal shop in wellawatta area(Colombo)last evening(24) had been doused vy the Seven fire trucks deployed by Colombo Fire department it has been reported.Thre police along with the residents of the area had assisted the fire fighters to douse the fire it has been revealed.

As the fire spread faster firefighters were  unable to.enter the shop to douse the fire according to the reports.The fire destroyed the Apparal shop but  no one was  injured Due to the fire and no casualties had been repotted according to the Police. The  cause of the fire and the damage done as a result have not yet been revealed.

A Female Was Killed Due To Lorry-Motorcycle Collision

A female was killed and another three persons were critically injured and hospitalized due to a Lorry- Mototcycle collision occurred at Galkulama area in Puttalam district today(2 accotding to the Police.

The Injured  were admitted to the Puttalam Base Hospital for treatment.The deceased was identified as a 43 year old resident of Anamaduwa area.

 The Tinea skin infection caused by a  fungus   is  spreading rapidly in the country at present according to Dermatologists.

This disease with the symptoms including itching and a scaly rash shaped like a ring is spreading among children and adults according to the Consultant Detmatologist attached to the Colombo Natkonal Hospital Dr.Janaka Akarawita.This skin infection is commonly seen in areas prone to sweating including armpits ,feet,groin  and the scalp he has stressed.

Shell Global Company is due to Commence  distributing fuel in Sri Lanka with effect from today(22) according to sources.

The  first stock of fuel scheduled to

distributed by Shell Global has arrived in Colombo Harbor yesterday (21) and will be available in 150 filling stations  across the country the Company has stated.
