Imprisoned Former DIG Released On Bail

The Former Senior Deputy Inspector General Of Police (DIG) Lalith Jayasinghe who was remanded over interfering on the Police investigations  into the  shooting taken place in Kahawatte area in 2015 which caused a death of a person ,was released on bail by the  Ratanapura High Court Judge Lanka Jayaratne yesterday(16).

Thr  Former Senior DIG Lalith Jayasinghe  was remsnded  over the charges of intetfering the Police  in view of  Preventing the arrest of  former Deputy Minister Premalal Jayasekare  who was the main susoect of the crime.

Badulla-Bandarawela Road Opened After A Week

 The Badulla-Bndarawela Road closed due to a landslide occurred at uduwara seventh post area of Badulla-Colombo main road had been opened for traffic yesterday (16) after a week according to Badulla District Secretariet .

The Road was shut down on 09th of January and it was opened after an inspection done by    the officials of National Buildong Research Organization (NBRO),Disaster Management Center and the Police   .

Government Increased The Casino License Fees

 Sri Lankan Government has increased the Casino License Fees and Casino License Renewel fee according to the Ministry Of Finance .

Accordingly for  the Casinos with minimum investment of  US Dollers 250 million.the Casino licence fee will be Rs.10 billion and the Casino Licence Renewal fee will be Rs.10 billion.
