International Cricket Council Banned Sri Lanka

 The International Cricket Council (ICC)has imposed a temporary ban on Sri Lanka over breach of rules it has been announced this evening (10). 


ICC has today announced that Sri Lanka has been banned from participating all formats of Cricket with immediatte effect a day after Sri Lanka's Parliament unanimously approved a resolution requesting the corrupt Management of the Sri Lanka Cricket Board to leave office.

Meanwhile The Cricket website Cric info has been reported that the ICC has  Banned Sri Lanka from participating  all formats,of Cricket according  to the suggestion made by  the president of Sri Lanka Cricket Shammi Silva who is being charged over freaud and corruption .

Sports Minister Roshan Ranasinghe had sacked the Cricket Board management recently over corruption charges levelled against them by the Auditor General and the poor performance of  Sri Lanka's National Cricket team in the ongoing ICC Men's World Cup.

Postal Activities Are Being Crippled Due To Postal Workers Strike

 Activities of the Postal  department and attached post offices are being crippled due to the ongoing strike launched by the Postal workers since yesterday (08) according to the Postal unons.


Due to the strike launched by around 27,000 postal workers attached to the Postal department demanding to stop the selling of  historical post offices in Kandy and Nuwara eliya,to the private sector ,had crippled the activitis of  the  Central mail exchange ,653 post offices and 3410 sub post offices  islandwide according to the Joint Postal trade unions front 

Meanwhile government had declared the Postal service as an essential service and cancelled the leave of all postal workers..

Transport Activities Of Upcountry Railway Line Distrupted Yesterday (08)

 Transport activities of the Colombo-Badulla upcountry Railway line between kinigama and Hiloya areas had been disrupted yesterday (08)due to a falling of a mango tree across the railway line. .


The Mango tree had fallen as a result of the adverse weather conditions  prevailing in at present  it has been reported .The railway workers attached to the Bandarawela Railway station had removed the fallen tree from the railway track .

CEO Of NMRA Removed Due To The Importation Of Sub Standard Drugs

The Board of Directors had decided to remove the Chief executive officer of the National Medicinal Regulatory Authority (NMRA) Dr.Vijith Gunasekare from his post with immediatte effect due to.his involvement on importing sub standard drugs to Sri Lnka the Health Ministry has announced .


The former Chief Executive Officer of the NMRA Dr.Gunasekare has been recalled to the setvice of Health Ministry according to the Health Ministry Secretary Janaka Sri Chandragupta .New Health Minister Dr.Ramesh Pathirune had appointed Dr.Ananda,Wijewikrama as the new Chairman of NMRA recently.



 

All The Parties To Hold A Parliamentary Debate On Corrupted Cricket Board Tomorrow(09).

Party leaders had unanimously  decided to hold a debate on corrupted officials of the Sri Lanka Cricket tomorrow(09) and passed a resolution urging the officials to leave from office.


MP's on government and opposition had today (108) decided to.join hands ttogether  to chase away the corrupt officials of the Sri Lanka  Cricket Board according to the reports.

Meanwhile addresing the Parliament Minister of Sports Roshan Ranasinghe had stated that the some offocials of the President's office had mislead the president on Cricket boatd crisis.
